I wrote setVar("x", 1), but {x} is empty in my script. Why?

setVar only writes to Skript’s local variable scope — not the global scope, and not even the local scope of your own script. See the Scope Warning.

My switch inside execute java won’t compile / gives an indentation error.

case labels must be at the same indentation level as switch. See switch/case Indentation.

Can I use lambda expressions (x -> ...) in Java blocks?

No, Janino doesn’t support them. See the Janino Compatibility Matrix.

The server won’t start after installing the plugin.

Make sure Skript is installed — SkBee++ is an addon to it, not a standalone plugin — and that you’re running Paper 26.x or newer.

How do I see the exact line a compile error happened on?

Both compile-time and runtime errors point at the real script line in the console. See execute java for details.

run jv "modules/x%loop-value%.jv" inside a loop doesn’t work.

run jv/include jv requires a module path known at script parse time. Dynamic paths aren’t supported and are explicitly rejected with a clear error.
