Discovery & Caching

.jv files are found and cached automatically.

Any .jv file under Skript’s scripts folder is picked up on plugin enable and on every /sk reload. It’s compiled right away — so errors show up in the console at startup, not mid-combat — and cached until the file’s modification time changes.

// modules/welcome.jv
Player player = (Player) sender;
player.sendMessage("Welcome back, " + player.getName());
setVar("joins_" + player.getName(), 1);

A module’s path is resolved relative to the including script first, then relative to the scripts/ folder. The .jv extension is optional in the script itself — run jv "modules/welcome" works the same as run jv "modules/welcome.jv".
